The Federal Ministry in Russia is a federal executive authority that develops state policy and related regulatory and legal regulation within its powers (scope of activity). The Federal Ministry is headed by the Minister of the Russian Federation, who is part of the Government of the Russian Federation./p>
The Federal Ministry, on the basis of and in pursuance of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, federal constitutional acts, federal laws, acts of the President of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation, independently performs the following functions:/p>
- legal regulation in its field of activity, with the exception of issues whose legal regulation is carried out exclusively by federal constitutional laws, federal laws, acts of the President and the Government;/li>
- control and supervision in the sphere directly specified in presidential decrees or Government resolutions;/li>
- management of state property, in the sphere directly specified in presidential decrees or government resolutions; coordination and control of the activities of subordinate federal services and federal agencies;/li>
- coordination of the activities of state extra-budgetary funds./li>
