EDITIONS
Submission of Cargo Declaration - Export. Export Data Declaration Service (EDITIONS) to the local customs office on behalf of the client.Carriermediates between the customs and the client to ensure that the necessary documents are provided at the specified time. EDD does not apply to transit cargo, cargo delivered with transshipment or the remainder of the cargo on board (FROB), although the carrier must still provide a declaration to the local authorities.

Entry Summary Declaration. From January 1, 2011, all goods entering the European Union must be issued with a Declaration (US) submitted at least 24 hours before loading. The main purpose is to assess the danger of the cargo before its arrival in the EU.
ENTRY FORM
A document that must be submitted with the customs office in order to obtain the exemption of imported goods and to ensure the collection of duties and statistics. also called the registration form of customs or entry.

Carriers use rolling stock to facilitate the transportation services they provide including containers trucks landing gear ships and aircraft among others.
BE
Ecological and RadiologicalService. The Service of Organizing environmental and/or radiological inspection at the request of the customer and /or regulatory requirements, in some countries.

EXA
Examination Service. A service in which the carrier organizes an appropriate inspection of the container, e.g. VACIS/X-ray/scanner. The service is provided in the following cases: - Customer's request; - Customs/security regulations and/or legal requirements; - Type of cargo that requires verification; - State legislation requiring verification. The carrier contacts the relevant authorities (e.g. US Customs) to arrange for an inspection when and if necessary, and learns its cost.
