Technical regulations

A document adopted by an international treaty of the Russian Federation, subject to ratification in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Russian Federation, or in accordance with an international treaty of the Russian Federation, ratified in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Russian Federation, or a federal law, or a decree of the President of the Russian Federation, or a decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, or a regulatory legal act of the federal executive authority for technical regulation and establishes mandatory requirements for the application and execution of technical regulation objects (products or products and processes related to product requirements for design (including surveys), production, construction, installation, commissioning, operation, storage, transportation, sale and disposal).

Technical regulations are adopted in order to: 

  • protection of life or health of citizens, property of individuals or legal entities, state or municipal property;
  • protection of the environment, life or health of animals and plants;
  • prevention of actions misleading purchasers, including consumers;
  • ensuring energy efficiency and resource conservation.
